What can we say, we had an absolutely amazing wedding day! We want to say a huge thank you to you, Fiona, and the whole team at Essendon for hosting the most special day for us!

We’ve had nothing but wonderful compliments on the venue, the food, the service, just how well organised everything was from start to finish! You made us feel at ease throughout the whole wedding planning and on the day. It has been so lovely to hear how much everyone enjoyed it and we have already had different guests asking for the details of the florists, magician, photographer and a recommendation on Essendon has been passed to one of our guests friends who is getting married, so that just goes to show how great everything was on the day :-)

The beef went down an absolute treat, that was definitely a talking point, and many have said how attentive all of the team were in service. Our friends who have dietary requirements have paid particular compliments to you all in ensuring everything was just perfect for them, leaving them very relaxed which they mostly do not feel when dining out, so a big thank you for that!

Ben and I really appreciated you bringing over the canapés and drinks for us, ensuring that we didn’t miss out. Going off on the golf buggy is such a nice part of the day and gave us wonderful time together, so special.

We can’t wait to see the photos and video capturing our day so we can relive it all over again!
We’re hoping we can come back to Essendon at some point to enjoy your wonderful venue and service again.

The team on the approach to the day have been amazing, we couldn’t have asked for more, the opportunity to talk to the chef was very settling for me and you have been a constant source of calm and confidence in the day. Even when the stresses were mounting with a few last minute bits (like having no suit of wedding rings on the Friday morning) the one thing we knew was that you had everything at your end under control.

Stacey's mum and I discussed how calming you were on the day, your style is absolutely perfect for your role…. I was panicking about a couple of bits but when I approached you, you were so calm it calmed me down! And that was echoed by Stacey's mum.

The Golf buggy part of the day is the icing on the cake, giving that moment of peace for us to be together, and equally some stunning pictures I imagine.

Jon = wow, a natural and adds another layer of professionalism to the day, what a surprise!

We cannot thank you all enough, we wouldn’t have changed a single thing, and I mean that, you handled the relationships with suppliers perfectly, our guests felt welcomed, Stacey and I were calm thanks to your presence, the list goes on.

Thank you so much for all your help on the lead up and on the day of the wedding – we honestly couldn’t have asked for better! We had the best day!

We can’t recommend you highly enough. You and the whole team really did make things run so smoothly – and we have to say the addition of Jon as a compare to the speeches was just brilliant and kept everyone engaged. Thank you so much for all your hard work, which you make look easy!

It has been such a pleasure for us to get to know you as well over the past 12 months! We genuinely cannot thank you enough for making the best day of our lives even more special. The entire day was just perfect. Everything ran so smoothly and that is really down to you. We've had many people say to both us and our parents how seamlessly the day went and how much fun they had.

We couldn't have asked for a better backdrop for the venue. It genuinely was like a winter wonderland, made so much more special by the snow and the photos we've seen so far just look so magical!!!

Of course, as soon as we have an album, we'd love to come in and see you to show them to you over a glass of wine!

We did our best to savour the day, but it did just run away with us. Our main aim was to have a great party and make sure everyone had fun, which I think we can safely say was the case! We certainly did anyway! We were up until the early hours back at the hotel, with a few stragglers :) 

Your team really did an amazing job. There was one worrying moment around 10pm, when we thought no taxis would make it out to collect people, but everyone managed to get back to their destinations without a hitch, as did we!

It's going to seem strange not to have to email you constantly with my questions now (!!)

Thank you again for everything, the day was just perfect and we are so very happy that we chose Essendon as the venue for our special day.

In terms of people we wish to thank, you have been right at the forefront of our minds,
Firstly we just wanted to say that right from the start we knew we wanted to choose Essendon, as we not only fell in love with the venue, but also the way we were made to feel by you Jo when we had our viewing. You really made us feel we were in safe hands and are a true credit to the company. We were not disappointed the whole way through the planning process, and couldn't have been happier with the decision we made.

Arriving at the venue we were both stunned by how great it looked, and what an amazing job the team had done making our vision come together. We could just imagine the amount of work that went into ensuring everything was as it should be, and we're so pleased with it all!
Whilst we started out our journey with you Jo, we have to mention Chelsey, as she has just such an easy manner and lovely way about her that we know she'll be a fantastic support to all her future couples. We were also incredibly glad to have her there later into the evening.

All the staffing were great, and actually I have to also specifically mention the food, it was amazing, and the staff serving were so incredibly polite and patient that even they made me feel special.

We have gotten some of our photos back, and would definitely love to arrange to come in and go through them, as we really would like to thank you in person for all you did to make our day special.

We would just like to say a massive thank you for everything Jo & the team did for us during the whole planning process & on our special day! We had the BEST day & absolutely loved every minute of it. 

You were amazing & looked after us every step of the way, nothing was ever too much trouble! 

We had so many comments on how nice the venue & food was, we couldn’t have asked for anything more :) 

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day, it was amazing. Every single part of our experience with Essendon was outstanding right from the booking/planning stage down to the way it was coordinated on the day. We felt so looked after by Jo and the team. So many of our guests commented to us how beautiful the venue was and how lovely the staff were.

Honestly Jo we so appreciate all the hard work that must have gone into all aspects of the day, thank you again.

It truly was the most amazing day and couldn't have gone any better. We've had so many people tell us it was the best wedding they had been to and it was such an amazing atmosphere and so we want to give Jo and all of the Essendon team such a huge thank you for making our special day, the best day ever.

Everything you did before hand and on the day itself was perfect. It was all so amazing. Our only regret, is that we can't do it all over again, but we will absolutely recommend Essendon to every newly engaged couple we meet, so we can come back again and again!

Gareth and I would just like to say a HUGE thank you to Jo and the team for giving us the best wedding day we could have hoped for. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and felt completely relaxed as we knew you and your team had everything in hand. We had so many compliments about the food and the service. Many said it was the best run wedding they had been to.

We’re so glad we chose Essendon and will always recommend to friends who are looking for their venue in the future.

All your support from the beginning through the pandemic right up to the week of the wedding put us at such ease. As for the day we were completely blown away. Every guest was so well catered for by the team and have all commented on how much they enjoyed themselves. They day was absolutely perfect! 

Having a wedding day with you was really great! In our planning meeting I loved how on it Jo was - she could give rough timings for the whole day, and advice on everything! Coming out of the meeting I felt so much more confident that the day was going to go well!

On the day Fiona and Tahlia were great at checking if we needed drinks and offering us canapés and checking if we needed anything. We felt completely relaxed with them handling everything, and everything went so smoothly!

We had such an amazing day and everything ran so smoothly. Honestly, couldn't have gone better if we tried. We felt very well-looked after and we were happy to see Jo and Fiona at the golf buggy with some canapes for us. We are so grateful that everything we wanted was catered for, including all the cultural elements that were so important to us. Everyone has commented on how beautiful the venue was and the food went down a treat, particularly the lamb. It was almost like you planned the perfect weather as well!

We want to thank Fiona, Jo, Tahlia and all the staff at Essendon who made the day such a success.

We feel a bit sad that it's all over to be honest, can't wait to see all the photos and videos so we can relive it again. It was a wonderful day and we loved every second of it!

Thank you for putting together a wonderful day and experience for us, a day we will never forget.  Thank you for your meticulous detail on everything. However, what really stands out is how Fiona, Tahlia and Jo are always so responsive, accommodating and so calm and assured, it really put us all at ease.

Your venue is superb. It is set in some wonderful surroundings, but having an upper and lower barn, plus the additional rooms really gives you an edge.

As you can see, there is a lot to for you to be proud of, but it is the small things that you did that made you unique and made the day so wonderful.
