The Adult Academy

We realise golf is sometimes tarnished with a reputation of being inhospitable, expensive and elitist. However, here at Essendon Country Club we pride ourselves on creating a relaxed and welcoming environment for everyone. The Adult Academy is the perfect platform to learn if you have limited or no previous experience.

Our Academy Golfers get into the game for various reasons; to take up a new hobby, to socialise and meet new friends, reap the health benefits the game has to offer, or a chance to enjoy time with friends and family in the great outdoors.

Our learning curriculum consists of a Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced 6 week course with a relaxed social playing event to finish off every term. Each level of the program provides you with the necessary knowledge and skills required to help build your confidence and the platform to thrive out on the golf course.

We will provide you with a first class golfing experience which includes structured tuition with others of the same ability level, your very own equipment that you will keep and full use of our facilities to utilise outside of the lesson time.

Class sizes are capped to ensure each Academy member benefits from an interactive environment whilst receiving first class coaching time with their Professional.

Once members of the Adult Academy have progressed through each level they are able to join our Introductory Membership, exclusively for those that have been through the program. This enables players to take advantage of a reduced price membership for the first 12 months whilst enjoying all the benefits of club life.
