Throughout the year, our team of PGA professionals host Social Golf clinics for those with Parkinsons and Dementia. Following a coffee on arrival, participants can learn some new tips on the Toptracer range, have some fun around the Muntjac par 3 course or get some short game practice in on our facilities.
We welcome everyone to attend, with or without their own clubs! Carers are also welcome to join us for refreshments in the morning, or even try some golf if of interest!

We work closely with the Knightsfield School to provide a comfortable, inclusive learning environment for children with hearing impairment. Our vision is to offer an opportunity to learn a sport they might have felt wasn’t for them or had barriers to entry. Where this program differs from others is that we are looking to create a pathway into golf, whether that be at Essendon or elsewhere. Our goal would be for a significant number of the participants to gain a handicap, so that they can join a club and play either competitively or with friends.
The deaf community can often feel like it is shut off and we want to help these participants play with fellow members.
This is aimed at pupils in Year 7, 8 & 9, we can cater for up to 24 pupils to be offered to Knightsfield school and also the local community. This will mean two groups of 12.
